Hidden Objects: Gardens of Time App Reviews

For anyone who needs friends, add me. My ID is AmnestyAlly I played this game years ago, when I first got my apple product and it was quite different. I dont recall ever seeing ads, but then again it was run by a different company. I started again and before every mini game there is an ad. I tried to download this on my phones but that was a fail. Every time I tried to open it, it just crashed. I opted for downloading it on my iPad and it seems to work just fine. I feel like you should be able to see the top 100 gardens rather than just 25. And lastly I feel that there should be an easier way to add friends, rather than just typing in their username. A viable idea would be like going to a random garden and there already being a butting that says add friend.

I played this game a few years ago and decided to start up again and so far I am really disappointed. So many darn ads and you cant add friends like before. Sadly I will have to delete. I loved creating my garden.

This shouldn’t be listed in the games section, not since RockYou took over. It’s an ad venue that happens to have some game elements interspersed. Even if you think you know how ads are used to support free play, you probably don’t expect that not only do you have to watch ads both before and after any aspect of play, but they are included in the game timer. In other words, the timer starts with an ad, so your score is penalized by that amount of time. Which brings us to the real reason why not to start playing this “game”: RockYou pockets the money from the advertising, but doesn’t actually support the venue at all. Even their own logo during start-up has been upside down for something like 6 months now! This means that the companies buying the ads are going to realize that their ads are glitchy, to the point that even when someone WANTS to click on their ad to learn more, most of the time it just freezes the screen or takes the player out of the game entirely without bringing them to the ad-buyers’ page. When that happens, and they all pull their ads, the game will disappear quickly. RockYou has no intention of doing even basic maintenance on the game now, so why bother once the advertisers wise up?

This game is ridiculous with the ads and crashing. It literally crashes every keystroke and the ads are endless. Wake up and fix your game.

I used to love this game. Downloaded to new phone and the whole thing reset to level one. I cant move up because it shuts down every time I try to add friends and I am supposed to add ten friends to complete challenge. I dont mind too much starting over, if I could actually okay the game!

Within 8 mins of general play I encountered 4 crashes.

Cant do more than a couple searches and it randomly closes if it opens at all. Most of the time is spent trying to close the ads.

Like others who have played this game for a while, I am totally disappointed in how it seems to have been completely abandoned by RockYou, Inc. Unless you are willing to spend a lot of money and watch advertisements nearly continuously, you wont get to play this game as frequently as you might like to. There are a lot of better choices out there for this type of game... Better graphics, more sophisticatedly developed, better support for players, and didnt sell out on their loyal customers.

Wow, I reloaded this game, I was an old customer and thought Id enjoy playing again. Ads and crashing constantly on my new IPad Air 2. It is awful, dont waste your space.

Played a long time ago. Tried again. Crashes every few minutes- transitions seem hard for the game. Way too many ads. If it isnt fixed soon I will delete.

I really love this game! But I cant play it anymore. It crashes all the time. Its very frustrating. RockYou, PLEASE fix your app!

This a fun search and find game....however it has a flaw that ultimately drives people away. I have linked my social network account, but none of my friends are playing. So I have now reached the point in the game where it will not let me expand without friends. Without more land I can not place more items to open more scenes. So I am stuck. You can visit other peoples gardens, but not friend them. Wish it wasnt so, but I am done.

I might have enjoyed this except is kept crashing on me.

I played this game for a long time, then just re-downloaded it. Played it for about 15 minutes and am getting ready to delete. Constant ads, crashing, cant find anyone to invite or visit. Dont even bother. What a shame...this was a fun game.

Bought a new phone and downloaded this again. iPhone 5, updated, 12gb free space, no other apps running. Placing items in the garden, checking the empty "free invite" page, opening a new quest, hitting the envelope icon, or loading up a puzzle...all these things cause a crash to desktop. Its unplayable in its present state.

This game showed promise but It crashed 3 times on me and I didnt even get through the tutorial. Plus full page ads that you have to wait through. Dont waste your time.

This app would be okay, but it crashes almost every time theres a switch of scenes. Luckily the ads arent videos, thank goodness.
